FREQUENT QUESTIONS

at is your policy?

WILL WE NEED TO SIGN LEASE AGREEMENTS?

Flipside is month to month. The only paperwork you’ll sign is an indemnity form, which says that you are responsible for any issues that arise from your access code to the building. Each member of each band has a unique access code to the building which allows us to keep the safety of you and your equipment a priority.

WHAT DIFFERENT WAYS CAN OUR RENT BE PAID?

We accept cash, credit cards, and we’re also linked through all major payment systems including Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, and Square.

WHERE IS FLIPSIDE LOCATED?

Flipside is located near the corner of Lorain Road and Barton Road in North Olmsted. It’s two minutes from two different exits on 480 and about five minutes from the I-80 turnpike exit in North Ridgeville. It’s also surrounded by a very wide range of shopping and food choices. There is a Guitar Center less than 10 minutes away, there’s a drive-thru convenience store almost directly across the street, and there is a barber and a tattoo shop within walking distance.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

The building and rehearsal rooms are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flipside’s office is generally open from 10-6 throughout the week but ownership can be reached at any time for any business inquiries or issues with the facility.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FLIPSIDE LOUNGE?

Flipside provides a comfortable lounge that is shared by all of the bands. We provide a small kitchen with basic appliances like a microwave as well as Keurig machine. There is also a vending service that provides things like strings, batteries, and cables. There’s also a next-gen console for video games, and we have cable television as well which usually has on whatever relevant sports games are on that day, mainly Cleveland’s teams. Bands also have access to free gear that we offer including guitar picks and drum-sticks.

HOW MUCH DOES A ROOM COST?

The cost of one of our rooms is $400 per month. This covers all of the overhead for us while providing you with the best overall service. It compares to within dollars of our competitor’s monthly rates, and we provide everything mentioned above as well as management, consultation, and help booking shows; all of which is included in the cost of your room at no charge. If you pay on time for a year, we provide you with a pizza dinner and a free recorded demo song and a simple music video to go with it, both recorded in-house at Flipside.

HOW BIG ARE THE ROOMS?

The size of the rooms are roughly 11’ x 13’ overall, at about 10’ high. Each room is soundproofed separately from each other and the outside walls and requires codes to access. If you have experience renting spaces around here, we can guarantee that our HVAC and electric are up to code.

WHAT KIND OF SECURITY DO YOU OFFER?

Both of the front and rear exits have cameras, as well as both main hallways and the lounge. Each member of a Flipside band is also assigned a personal code that is unique to them that they use to enter both the main entrance and their room. Between that, our agreements that bands cannot hand out their codes, and the cameras, Flipside boasts one of the most secure facilities possible in a neighborhood where you already don’t have to panic if you leave your car unlocked like some of our competitors.
